In Gloucestershire, we enjoy market-leading innovation in joining the dots between health, housing and energy efficiency – and this September you are invited to join the county’s foremost agencies, organisations and authorities and share the latest developments in this important area. Meeting in the historic 13th century Blackfriars Priory in Gloucester, one of the county’s oldest buildings, we will have the opportunity to see, feel and hear the future of housing ¬– and hear from you and the part you play in a healthy homelife in the region. Along with keynote speakers from the NHS, Gloucestershire businesses, local authorities and energy management, the event will feature:
• The Innovation Hall – a hands-on glimpse of the future, featuring battery storage, robotic underfloor insulation, heat storage, car-to-grid and modular housing kits
• Workshops – whether your interest is in future technologies, construction standards or big-picture energy strategy, our afternoon workshops will have something for you
• Panels and discussion opportunities to contribute to the big picture across Gloucestershire
• Lunch and refreshments provided throughout the day Please book your free place, and bring colleagues with you for what promises to be an eye-opening and inspiring opportunity to combine efforts.
This event is delivered by Build to Low Carbon, an Interreg project working to further innovation and development in order to improve Gloucestershire’s housing stock. Look forward to seeing you there Eileen O'Haire and the Build 2 Low Carbon Team.
