Get Ready to Export - New event from Made in Gloucestershire

The first ever Made in Gloucestershire exclusive event for members will focus on getting you ready to export your food and drink products.

Made in Gloucestershire is our initiative run by GFirst LEP and partners, that has been put in place to support Gloucestershire's Food and Drink sector. With membership free until August 2024, food and drink businesses are encouraged to join the rapidly growing membership base for free marketing, exposure, networking and training opportunities, specific to the sector.

Made in Gloucestershire want the world to experience the amazing food and drink to come from Gloucestershire, and they're sure you do too. Let their experts help you get your business plan, your branding and your website ready to sell to a wide variety of new, hungry customers.

Their first event takes place at the Gloucester Growth Hub, Tuesday 25th of April from 8.30am; Get Export Ready.

They are pleased to welcome Export strategy specialist, Stefano Pucello from the Department for Business and Trade, as well as branding and marketing experts Eva and Janina from Local to Global.

Stefano from DBT will take you through each strategy point to consider before beginning your export journey. You will leave knowing which first steps to take, how to incorporate export into your business plan and what further support is available as you progress.

Eva and Janina from Local to Global are both passionate about international trade. They will walk you through what you need to consider about exporting in foreign languages, including marketing and brand identity in another country.

The morning sessions will be followed by a round of “Speed dating” and a chance to be introduced to the Made in Gloucestershire Affiliates, and what their businesses can do for yours.
