Record 30 million people in jobs
Employment hit a new record high this month with over 30 million people in jobs for the first time, according to figures published by the Office for National Statistics this morning.

Current claimant rate in Gloucestershire is 2.1%
Latest published figures by Gloucestershire County Council Inform shows that the claimant count in Gloucestershire in November 2013 decreased by 376 people. The amount of people claiming in November 2013 was 4.6% lower than the number in October 2013. This compares to a 1.4% decrease in the South West and a 3.6% decrease for the UK. The year on year claimant count in Gloucestershire has decreased since last month.
